Judy Beckerson
Judy Beckerson has volunteered on DVP 5 times since 2008, leading teams and working as a part of the dental team. We are lucky to have such a dedicated volunteer and she has helped out many times when volunteers have had to withdraw from programmes at the last minute. Her enthusiasm has encouraged many of her co-workers and friends to come out on DVP over the years. She has also participated in multiple fundraisers over the years, including jumping out of a plane for Bridge2Aid.
About volunteering with Bridge2Aid, Judy says, "It was great to find Bridge2Aid at a time when I was free to travel and wanted to combine my dental skills with a charitable cause. My first trip in Feb 08 was very fulfilling on many levels so I was keen to come back the following year and so it has continued with my making additional trips when the call has come that a DVP team needs additional members or even a SCL. Tanzania has certainly got under my skin and am only too pleased to play my part where and whenever I can."
