Watched by two million spectators in New York and 315 million television viewers worldwide, the New York Marathon is one of the world's biggest sporting events.
The route takes you on a veritable sightseeing tour of the Big Apple, passing through Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens.
How to enter
We have an allocation of places with Sports Tours International and you’ll need to sign up directly with them to get your place.
You will be able to choose from one of the following packages to suit your budget:
- guaranteed entry plus flight and accommodation
- guaranteed entry plus flight
- guaranteed entry plus accommodation.
When you sign up, please make sure you let Sports Tours International know that you want to raise money for the Bridge2Aid.
Fundraising
To help you raise as much as possible, we can refund part of your costs if you manage to achieve certain fundraising targets.
If you can raise:
- £1,500 or more we will refund up to £500 of your costs*
- £2,500 or more we will refund up to £1,000 of your costs*
*To be eligible for a refund you must contact us and provide your full name, address and contact details letting us know you’ll be running and raising money for the Bridge2Aid. Your refund claim form will be sent with your fundraising pack and you must return this along with proof of your expenditure in the form of an invoice from Sports Tours before 9 December 2011. We will not process any refunds after this date and you must have reached at least £1,500 in sponsorship to claim a refund.
