Margaret Carleton
Margaret spent most of 2008 living in Mwanza, working with Bridge2Aid on project management and administrative tasks.
This wasn't quite enough, so in 2010 Margaret and 11 other volunteers travelled to Bukumbi where they worked solidly for two weeks, renovating the Community Block and scrubbing years of soot and dirt of the walls. It was a highly successful project and we're very grateful to the whole team for making Bukumbi a better place to live for the residents.
Not complete with devoting her time to us in Tanzania, Margaret ran the Manchester 10K for us in 2010! She also supports the education programme by supporting one of the children and rallying her friends to do the same.
