What We Do
Bridge2Aid's Tea Break
More than 165 million cups of tea are enjoyed in Britain everyday, so let's pour a few more to free thousands more Tanzanians from needless dental pain!
Bridge2Aid's Tea Break is a great opportunity to get together with your friends, family and colleagues, simply hold a tea break of any size and the proceeds will support the training of Clinical Officers in rural regions of Tanzania.
The B2A Tea Break takes place in November - to register and receive your free pack of ideas and resources, simply email fundraising@bridge2aid.org or call the office on 01243 780102.
Ideas for your Tea Break:
Practice Stop:
Invite your colleagues to a Tea Break and ask everyone to donate a small sum to take part. Or ask some budding bakers to bake some offerings and ask people to pay per slice!
Afternoon Tea at Home
Take inspiration from Queen Victoria and host a polite tea party in the comfort of your own home. Bring on the finely cut cucumber sandwiches!
Children's Tea Party
Invite your friends and their children over for a tea party with miniature tea sets. Bake fun cookies with them or let them decorate their own fairy cakes with hundreds and thousands or colourful icing for a small donation.
Tea with a Twist
Host a 'Mad Hatter' Tea Party where everyone dresses up as their favourite character from Alice in Wonderland. Go all out and dress up the table in mismatching china (not forgetting a big armchair for you as host!) and ask people to bring little fairy cakes, iced tea and anything that stretches their imagination!
Tea Off
Set up a 'Tea Off' golf competition at your local club and invite your friends and other members to pay to take part.
Something Stronger
A popular idea we're sure - invite friends over for the evening and sell tea-inspired drinks such as Long Island iced tea and G&T!
Tea Quiz
Have your tea-loving friends round for a Tea Quiz and see how much they really know about Britain's favourite drink!
