What We Do
Bukumbi Care Centre
Bukumbi Care Centre (BCC) is a place of hope, a place where people feel comfortable together, and a place where community means community.
Historically, it has been a place where people have been living in squalid conditions, have not had enough food, have had irregular access to medical care, an insufficient supply of water, can sit in pain from open wounds caused by leprosy with little access to pain relieving medication, a place where the sanitation system has been totally dysfunctional, a place of dependence.
The team at Bridge2Aid are working hard at BCC to bring lasting change, working with the community themselves demonstrating that they too can get involved and make changes happen.
