BCC is a place of hope, a place where people feel comfortable together, a place where community means community, but also a place where people are living in squalid conditions, do not have enough food, have irregular access to medical care, have a insufficient supply of water, sit in pain from open wounds caused by leprosy with little access to pain relieving medication, a place where the sanitation system is dysfunctional, a place of dependence. B2A are working at BCC to bring lasting change, working with the community themselves demonstrating that they too can get involved and make changes happen. |
