Why take on the 3 Peaks for B2A?
Bridge2Aid is a small charity making a big difference in Tanzania:
Bridge2Aid Dental
Access to safe dentistry is beyond the reach of the majority of Tanzanians. Bridge2Aid are working with the Tanzanian government in the Mwanza region to improve access basic dental services. We operate regular training programmes for Rural Clinical Officers, giving them the skills, knowledge and equipment to effectively treat their local communities. We also operate a non-profit making dental centre in the city which serves as a centre for postgraduate study, where qualified personnel can improve their skills and knowledge. |
Bridge2Aid Community Development
In any developing nation, there are those who exist at the margins of society. In Tanzanian society, they are known as the Maskini - Kiswahili for ‘poor’. They live on the streets, are often disabled, suffering from leprosy and other disfiguring diseases. They are the lowest of the low, with no hope, no future, no rights and no means of escaping the poverty trap. But there is always hope, and Bridge2Aid are working with the Maskini community to help them improve their lives. |
We rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to carry out our work. Please help us to help more people by joining us in 2008 to climb the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
With every step you take, the funds you raise will be changing lives in Tanzania.
2008 = 52 weekends. Will you Make One Count for the people of Tanzania?
