Pupils and staff at the Admiral Lord Nelson School in Portsmouth recently held a non-uniform day and raised £357 for B2A. Music teacher, Andy Richardson who is a keen supporter of B2A said, 'We have close links to schools in Africa and are particularly keen in supporting what Bridge2Aid does for the children of Bukumbi. The whole school was showen a PowerPoint presentation showing Bridge2Aid's work and Year 10 had an 'Africa Day' where they learnt more about African culture. 'Many of Bridge2Aid's photos show school-age children queuing to receive dental treatment and we wanted to teach the children how life is so very different for other children their age in other parts of the world.' We'd like to thank everyone who took part in the non-uniform day and hope they all had fun in learning more about Africa! |
