The first DVP team of 2010! - 25 Jan 2010
A terrific thank you to all 21 of the January DVP teams who did an amazing job at the Barrick gold mines where they successfully trained 12 clinical officers and treated 955 patients! Battling with heat, humidity and lizards, the dentists and dental nurses brought pain relief to the queues and queues of patients who just seemed to grow in number.
To those who hadn't been before and thought they would never get on the plane in the first place, Bridge2Aid sends you a special thank you and a huge well-done for taking up such a challenge! The four Site Clinical Leads also did a sterling job of keeping everyone in line too!
Thank you also to Barrick Gold Corporation for providing such excellent accomodation to the DVP teams.
